Since 1916, the B.I.I.A. has enhanced the Balboa Island experience for residents and visitors alike. We are a non-profit volunteer, association, your membership dollars go towards the planning and execution of the items listed below.

Flowers at the Bridge Entrance/Fire Station, Bridge Flags and Bunting, Bridge Marquee Sign, Balboa Island Parade & After Party, All-Island Holiday Decorations, Holiday Tree Lighting and Snow Day, Holiday Light Judging and Awards, Carnival & Taste of Balboa Island, Garden of the Quarter Awards, Concerts at St. John Vianney Church, Sandcastle Contest, Summer Concert Series in Balboa Park, Cleaning Sidewalks, Trash Cans and Beaches, The Quarterly Island Bridge Newsletter, Holiday Home Tour, Pancake Breakfast, Veterans Day and Memorial Day BBQ, Event Banners at Entrance.

As a member, your name will be listed in The Island Bridge Newsletter. Join at the Gold, Silver or Diamond level and you will be entitled to receive a printed Balboa Island banner type flag.
